It's a world of magic and adventure, good and evil, heroes and outlaws. Protected by a group called the Guardians for years, it has been untouched by outside forces. Until now.

In pursuit of the intruder who seeks to destroy The Story as it is now, Guardian Rachel Andric finds herself in a race against time to stop him. As she wrestles with the fact that he is only in The Story because of her, she joins forces with the sorcerer of Camelot in an effort to keep that Story safe.

At the same time, her other friends are trapped in another Story, facing down a sleeping curse and a familiar enemy. Separated by Stories, Rachel struggles to come to terms with being alone. Yet as she fights for Camelot and for the whole Story, there will come a time when she will have to face down her enemies …Alone.
